The School of Mathematics at the University of Leeds is proud to host its annual conference for postgraduate researchers, bringing together PGRs across all groups and years to:
- foster understanding of the research taking place across the School of Mathematics;
- strengthen the postgraduate research community within the School; and
- provide an opportunity to share ideas, discuss research, and meet other PGRs.
This year’s conference will be held from Wednesday 10th June to Thursday 11th June 2026. The main conference sessions will take place in the MALL, with lunch and the social event taking place in the MRD open area.
The programme will include PGR talks, a poster session, plenary talks, and career-related sessions, with contributions from PGR students and invited speakers from across the School.
Breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch will be provided during the conference. We also plan to hold an informal social event on Wednesday afternoon/evening with pizza and drinks, giving attendees the chance to chat and engage with each other after the main sessions.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the 2026 SoM PGR Conference!
